Message from the Vice President for Academic Affairs

The faculty and administration of Midwest University are fully committed to the mission of Christian education. Midwest believes that to be effective ministers, individuals must be well grounded biblically with supreme qualities of character, integrity, and leadership skills. University academic programs have been designed with those guidelines in mind. Curriculum design, critical issues in student development, and crucial global issues are shared faculty teaching responsibilities. Classroom and elearning instruction is of the highest quality so that biblical knowledge and understanding may be gained, culminating in deeper insight into Christian life and faith. Undergraduate and graduate programs encourage a healthy interaction of faculty and students. The academic goals of Midwest identify learning outcomes to produce well-trained, professional, scholar practitioners.
I personally encourage each Midwest student to accept the challenge and rigor of the academic programs to fully realize his/her ministry potential.

Robert L. Miller, Ph.D.
Provost/Vice President for Academic Affairs
