BACHELOR OF RELIGION WITH CONCENTRATION IN CHURCH MUSIC

Purpose

The mission of the Bachelor of Religion with concentration in Church Music is to train, to educate and to prepare student with sound music theory based upon biblical principles. The program is designed to equip the student with church music theory and music skills leading students to higher levels of study.

Objectives

Upon completion of Bachelor of Religion with Concentration in Church Music degree program, students will be able to:

1. Obtain a biblical understanding of music as an instrument for God¡¯s glory.
2. Manifest a biblical function and meaning of music with proper hermeneutical skills.
3. Demonstrate the knowledge and competency to the basic understanding of music ministry.
4. Develop commitment to serve God and mankind through music.
