Midwest University was founded with the mission of educating Christian leaders who can complete the service to the Lord worldwide.

In 2006, Midwest University instituted the doctor of social work* upon the approval by the TRACS.

Graduates from MSW programs in the United States can apply for admission to the Midwest program and complete the degree with 51 credit hours through either e-learning or on-campus study.

Graduates from non-U.S. institutions of higher education should complete 75 credit curriculums.
