STUDENT CLASSIFICATIONS
Undergraduate Students : Those students holding a previously earned A.A.
degree or equivalent from a recognized institution and working toward
a B.A. in Religion degree.
Graduate Students : Those students holding a previously earned college
degree and working toward a graduate degree.
Special Students : Those students taking courses of their own choosing
for credits but are not following a regular course of study.
Auditors : Those students are attending classes but seeking no credits.
Part-Time Students: Those students maintaining a semester of academic
work of six hours or fewer.
Full-Time Students : B.A. students with a semester pace of academic work
of a minimum of 15 to 18 hours. M.A. and Master of Divinity students
with a semester pace of academic work of a minimum of 12 to15 hours.
Doctoral students with a semester pace of academic work of a minimum
of 9 to12 hours.
Continuing Education Students : Students who enroll for non-credit courses,
seminars, workshops or conferences for the purpose of personal enrichment,
spiritual formation, or ministry development. These learning activities
are not for University credits and are not any part of the institution¡¯s
degree programs. Participants who complete each course or activity will
receive a CEU certificate or diploma on Biblical Studies if desired.
Practicum : Each student must complete six (6) hours of practicum study
(1.5 hours per semester). As part of this practicum a monthly performance log must be kept. The
student will present this log for review to the assigned staff each month.
A list of articles, scriptures and other items used for devotions are
required. Seventy-five percent attendance is required for chapel, regular
church services and other activities assigned as part of this practicum
experience. |
